SUMMARY:Holocaust Memorial Day Service at Gordonstoun
DESCRIPTION:We are supporting a special service at Gordonstoun School in honour of Holocaust Memorial Day. \nWe will be honouring the memory and achievements of Gordonstoun founder Kurt Hahn with the unveiling of a plaque by The Association of Jewish Refugees (AJR). The service will mark his courage in publicly standing up against the Nazi party as it rose to power in the 1930s\, and his subsequent flight to Great Britain. This forthcoming HMD marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau\, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Bosnian genocide and we will focus on what we can learn from both. \nPlease note: This event is by invitation only. \n📌 Sunday 26th January (11am-12pm)\, Gordonstoun School
