DESCRIPTION:Let’s gather for a chat about the future of interfaith engagement in Inverness. \nWe invite you to attend the Interfaith Conversation Café\, where you will have the opportunity to meet people from different faiths and beliefs in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands. This is our first interfaith conversation café in Inverness\, and we would love to have you join us! \nThis special event is planned by Interfaith Scotland\, in collaboration with Inverness Interfaith Group\, to explore the future of interfaith dialogue and engagement with the local communities. We hope to gather opinions from representatives of diverse faith and belief communities at this event\, to help us shape the development of interfaith engagement in Inverness. \nWe will start the event with light vegetarian refreshments. SUMMARY:Interfaith Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Interfaith Scotland\, this retreat is open to people of all faiths and none who are interested in finding out about the lived experience of people of different faiths\, philosophies and spiritual practices. \nThis will take place through sharing the things that inspire us on our life journey\, and conversations on what we share in common across different faiths such as prayer\, meditation\, wisdom and compassion. Come to share or come to listen – everyone is welcome! \nThere will be opportunities to try out some creative activities and a reflective walk to the cave of St Molaise and the Tibetan Buddhist deities carved into the rocks. \nOur programme will include an hour after breakfast each day working with the resident volunteer community\, helping with kitchen\, house care and garden tasks. Participants are welcome to join in the Centre’s daily meditation schedule. There will also be time for personal reflection and enjoyment of this beautiful island. \nBooking course\nThe course fee is payable directly to Interfaith Scotland. To register and pay the £100 retreat fee\, please email admin@interfaithscotland.org. \nBooking accommodation\nOnce you have registered\, visit the Holy Isle website and use the Book Now button in the sidebar: Select 3 nights from 11 – 14 September 2026 (please note the default setting is for two guests). A screen will come up with the available accommodation\, please make your choice. \nAccommodation costs: £198 single room\, £294 for two people sharing a twin\, £111 dorm. Full board and lodging costs.
