Interfaith Scotland wins Charity of the Year 2025Β π

Interfaith Scotland won Charity of the Year at the Scottish Charity Awards presented by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations on Thursday 19th June.
The award recognises the success of our 25th anniversary year in which we engaged with thousands of pupils, supported over 100 events during Scottish Interfaith Week, and brought communities together through courageous conversations, diversity training, and climate action.
We were celebrated for fostering respect, connection and understanding across Scotland.

Our Director Dr Maureen Sier, said: “We are honoured to receive this prestigious award and to be recognised for over twenty-five years of supporting Scotlandβs faith and belief communities, and campaigning for equality.
“Thank you to everyone who has championed our work over the years, especially our volunteers, partners and funders. Our whole staff team and board are proud to be part of a movement striving for peace and building a more welcoming and inclusive Scotland for all.β
This award is especially sweet as our long-time Director Maureen will retire this year after dedicating more than two decades of her life to Interfaith Scotland.
